IPOH: A company pleaded guilty in a Sessions Court here to negligently causing the death of a worker in July this year.

Judge Norashima Khalid fined the company, Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd, RM30,000, in default of six months' jail.

In the charge sheet, it was stated that the company failed to ensure the safety, health and welfare of the workplace, which resulted in the death of Shollehudin Samsudin, 29, from Sabah.
