Australian charities reported combined revenue of $146 billion in 2018/19, with an estimated 3.3 million volunteers involved.

Of the concerns, 387 related to possible criminal or improper purposes while 574 were about "private benefit". "When we identify that a charity is unwilling or unable to address serious wrongdoing, we use our regulatory powers to address the wrongdoing or revoke the charity's registration."

IF there is already wrong doing, just prosecute them....not hit them with wet lettuce leaf. Name and shame as well. Many charities today rip off massive admin costs from donations, a big con job:-(
