Ford recalls Ranger and Everest models from Irish market due to potentially killer fault

Just under 1,000 Ford Ranger and Ford Everest vehicles are subject to the caution, as part of a worldwide Takata airbag recall.A statement explained: "Takata airbags fitted to some Ranger and Everest vehicles contain an inflator propellant that, in some inflators, may experience a material alteration over time.

The alert comes just under a week after BMW Ireland also recalled two models due to the same safety issue.
