Sectors of the wool industry are pitted against each other as woolgrowers prepare for a key vote.

Wal Merriman owns the elite Merryville merino stud and was chair of Australian Wool Innovation for 10 years until 2018.Meanwhile another candidate, George Falkiner believed the company needed to improve communications with woolgrowers and the election process was part of the problem.
