Japan’s largest power-generation company, Jera Co.
, said this month that it was in talks to take a stake of about 40% in Formosa 3, the third installment of a project to make Taiwan a leading offshore-wind producer. The projects are owned by joint ventures created by a number of companies including offshore wind developers.
All the energy we need to power our economy is just going unused offshore waiting to be developed. The US will ultimately regret turning its back on this clean, virtually unlimited energy source
