FG to unveil owners of oil & gas companies on December 12 —NEITI boss

Mr Waziri Adio, the Executive Secretary Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative says the Federal Government will soon unveil the beneficial ownership register for the oil and gas industry.

He spoke after a meeting with the Head of International Secretariat of the global Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, Mr Mark Robinson who was in Abuja on a working visit. Robinson said that the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation informed him that the corporation was looking into remediation that had been reoccurring in the NEITI audit reports.
