When lockdowns are lifted, will people to go back to in-person classes or continue working out via online videos?

When Indian entrepreneur Neha Motwani realized Google searches for "fitness near me" were growing almost 40% year on year in her home country, she saw a business opportunity.

The business Motwani co-founded in 2014, Fitternity, is now the largest online marketplace for fitness services in India. Before the coronavirus pandemic, it had almost 500,000 monthly active users who booked studio and gym classes via its app. The way we work out may never be the same. Motwani does not think people will go back to in-person classes they used once lockdowns are lifted.

Instead, she expects a situation where an instructor will teach a handful of people in person, while simultaneously broadcasting that workout to people logged in online.

People should find a 300 square foot place in their homes or a small spare bedroom to transform into a gym. A few pieces of the right equipment can offer a full body workout. Open 24/7, no transportation needed and virus free.

I do not believe most people will renew their gym memberships after covid19. The YMCA gives out free memberships to the homeless; the only place where they might get a shower. It has been said that public gym equipment is the new used toilet paper.

I like taking online classes better

Vr should take off

Either way I hope you’re walking around with an Apple watch!

I really don’t know if I’ll be honest with ya and that’s why I won’t invest into either or at this point in time.

I have seen some adult scenes where gym instructors engage in sexual misconduct ... I suggest keep it online for now. I don't want this dude touching butts...

My workout lately

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Robert Kennedy Jr. Destroys Big Pharma, Fauci & Pro-Vaccine Movement

Initially sure. Online for a lot of people until trust, confidence, convenience grows and then they’ll go back.

Those that have a dedicated space and can afford the equipment/online classes probably won’t be going back. Dealing with traffic and congested parking lots isn’t fun.

No! people will go about their jobs and continue to prevent the spread of this super flu! Stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution, we are going back to work and opening our shops! You want a Civil War stop us!

If you want to stay home, isolated with no exposure then God bless you. My husband & I ages 68 & 69 (since everything seems to be about us old people) walk 4 or 5 miles every day (weather permitting here in Texas). We also lift weights each day.

Who cares...

God I hope so 👹👹👹
