Elon Musk told Tesla workers in a March email that they could stay home if working amid the coronavirus pandemic made them uncomfortable.
The two workers, Carlos Gabriel and Jessica Naro, said Tesla's human resources department cited their inability to reach them when they did not show up for work. However, they also believe the move is connected to speaking out about working conditions in MayMusk's benevolent bending to allow workers to stay home — or at least the appearance of such — came as he and Tesla sparred with leaders in Alameda County, where its Fremont Factory is located.
After calling the lockdown rules, which were largely effective in helping to slow the virus' spread, fascist, Musk doubled down on his standoff, eventually filing a lawsuit in federal court against the county. And after returning to work,
Never shoulda been told they could stay home in the first place. Look, if I told my boss, 'I have to stay home cuz I'm fearful of driving-accident statistics. But I still want to get paid' - she'd tell me to get lost and I'd be out of a job.
Business insider is extremely committed to creating as much anti tesla propaganda they can. BS!
1) He said that back in March, it's now the end of June, things probably changed 2)They are saying the employees wouldn't even answer their phones, they could not get ahold of them As per usual, there's always more to the story.
Yeah, but so much better than being a dictator regime propagandist.
