Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad chief executive officer Saiful Zaini Mohd Bokhari said this was due to simultaneous high water usage to clean homes and premises affected by the floods.
"This is also due to landslides in some areas that have caused pipe alignments to be cut off or broken. "However, almost all water treatment plants are fully operational to supply water to consumers and it is still in the process of recovery.Saiful Zaini advised users to be prudent in their water usage in the meantime.
During the floods, as many as 13 water treatment plants in Pahang were shut down due to rising river water levels and power outages.and Notis Gangguan Bekalan Air Negeri Pahang on Telegram or contact the customer service centre at 09-573 9999 for inquiries and complaints.
