, ironically known as ‘The Wide House’ when it was first built, was featured on Grand Designs and won a Future Homes RIBA award.The smart home has wireless controls for lighting, TV and music and a central vacuum cleaner with sockets on each floor and the kitchen has sensor lighting.The floors are limestone with underfloor heating, including in one of the three bathrooms, which has a sunken limestone bath set in the floor.
