This isn’t anything new. Oil companies and their geophysical contractors have been using air guns offshore continuously since about the 1950’s. Including offshore MA, NY, NJ, NC, CA, TX, LA, MS, AL, and AK. I’m baffled why this is suddenly so surprising or shocking.
