asked in the headline to its story about the murder of German tourist Jörg SchnarrBut Germany’s ambassador to South Africa, Andreas Peschke, has praised Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and the government for their “exemplary” response.
He said he would include in his reporting, “the responsibility taken by the government for this tragic incident, which is quite exemplary”. Sisulu said the government had also organised for a doctor to attend to Schnarr’s widow to help her deal with the traumatic flight home. Sisulu claimed that only three foreign tourists had been killed in South Africa since 1994. The murder of Anni Dewani, had been an organised hit – her husband Shrien was charged but later acquitted, another death had been accidental and only Schnarr’s death could be attributed to the general environment of crime.
miraaikie Yes we are a useless shithole due to anc and its caders.. VoetsekANC VoetsekCyril 🤮
Some damage!!! More like major damage. My German friends cancelled their holidays to SA next year because of this murder.
Thank goodness. Germans, if you want to live, don’t come to South Africa.
Forget tourism, the people of SA are being robbed, raped, murdered, hijacked daily, so many people are leaving SA, I can't understand why any tourist would want to come here. How bout this New Tourist Opportunity...Hunt a Politician.
Do not be fooled by Sisulu .It is all just smoke and mirrors because of international attention.ANC care nothing for white lives just their money.
Nobody can act suprised only government - the fact that violent crimes have escalated to the point it’s been allowed to - reflects a total lack of awareness by government to stem the slide into a failed state☝️ Tourists can and will go elsewhere to spend their moneys
Those 'ministers' visits and addressing the press brings no one back and that's only one of the 60 odd murders daily and 150 rapes.....thats the tip of the iceberg. There are much better places in the world. IF YOU WANT TO SEE WILDLIFE WATCH THE MINISTERS PRESS BRIEFING THOUGH
Good!
