As reported by Reuters, Musk also said that he is currently doing organisational restructuring at Twitter and hoped that it would be completed by the end of this week. He made the remarks when testifying in a court in Delaware, United States to defend against claims that his USD56 billion or ~RM254.9 billion pay package at another company that he owns, Tesla Inc.
Musk elaborated that currently, there’s a burst of activity at Twitter so that the company can be reorganised post-acquisition. He also admitted that some Tesla engineers were assisting in evaluating Twitter's engineering teams on “a voluntary basis" and"after hours." When his takeover of Twitter was completed, Musk fired its previous CEO and other senior leaders at the company, as well as laid off half of its staff. He is currently devoting his time to turning around the fortunes at Twitter and will be appointing a new CEO and other top management positions after the company is in a strong place in the industry.
