Tiny Tinsel Town is an annual display which is assembled each year over a five-week period by Jill and Jamie Livingstone who both work at the museum. Jill is the administrative assistant to the manager while Jamie is the building supervisor but starting in October they become urban planners for this miniature metropolis.
This new fireplace greets visitors who come to spend some time in Tiny Tinsel Town at the Museum of Industry. - Ray Burns As you can imagine, the temptation to touch various parts of the display can be overwhelming for some who are wrapped up in the excitement of the season. So, for that reason, there are a few buttons visitors can push to activate various moving elements such as the gondola on the ski hill or turn on a train. Also, an eye-spy feature has been added which helps people really explore the displays and immerse themselves in the experience.
