The National Association of Nigerian Students has expressed confidence in the administration of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, especially for his impact on education.

The statement read in part, “In achieving his goal, his administration constructed 1,047 new classrooms, made available 181,365 pieces of dual composite furniture, 1,592 hostel beds in model colleges across the state, rehabilitated 197 schools translating to a total of about 2,280 classrooms while over 4,000 schoolchildren benefited from the Lagos free health care initiative which would open up free health delivery for students.

“At the higher institution level, the Lagos State Government under Governor Sanwo-Olu established two additional universities in three years to give youths more access to varsity education for a better future; constructed and commissioned the largest students’ arcade at LASU, known as LASU Students Arcade; constructed and completed new LASUCOM Faculty of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Clinical Sciences; installed 6.

Furthermore, NANS noted that the Sanwo-Olu administration “constructed and completed 48 flats LASU Homs for staff and workers of the Lagos State University,” among other initiatives.All rights reserved.
