Last week, Rogers, one of Canada’s big three wireless carriers, announced former industry minister Navdeep Bains would join the company

Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne accused Conservatives of conspiracy theories and responded to Masse that the way to bring costs down is through competition. “We’re always going to stand up for Canadians to make sure prices go down in this country,” he said.

He pointed out Bains joined Rogers shortly after the Rogers-Shaw merger was finalized .
