The Handpie Company gearing up to open second facility in Borden-Carleton, P.E.I.

Concluding the tour, free coffee and sweet handpies – blueberry cranberry, apple cinnamon and strawberry rhubarb – are served as the cherry on top. While operating her business, Bennetto O’Brien would hear of tourists falling in love with the handpies, only to head back home and lament that they were exclusive to P.E.I. The company’s Albany location will remain open, but much of the production for distribution will shift to the new facility.
