Before he left, Plimpton took around 100 confidential documents from Wyatt's, according to the court documents. Soon after, Towing Holdings sued Plimpton, demanding to get those documents back. 9NEWS reached out to the AG's office about Plimpton's whistleblower claim and what it entails. They told us they're unable to comment on the matter.
