Homicide detectives investigating the death of former Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga, Nick Imudia, who reportedly committed suicide in his apartment in the Coconut groove Victoria Island area of Lagos state, have started focusing on his business associates to unravel the cause of his action.

Police sources at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department , Panti, Lagos, intimated Vanguard exclusively that it has become necessary to focus on his business interests and partners, as he was said to be a very amiable, busy, and ever-cheerful fellow who easily fraternized with friends and associates.

Vanguard gathered that nobody has been interrogated over his death. Besides, occupants of the building where the incident occurred are still miffed, with some of them claiming not to have known the identity of the deceased until his death. Our correspondent also noticed that the building is painted in cream colour, and palm trees surrounded its entrance.

It also could not be established if he left any suicide note to substantiate the claim that he actually committed suicide. But detectives said they were working round the clock to establish if indeed he committed suicide or otherwise.
