Former African National Congress National Executive Committee member Tony Yengeni, who represented Former President Jacob Zuma in his disciplinary hearing, says the process that expelled Zuma from the party was flawed.
He says there are many grounds to appeal the decision to expel Zuma. Yengeni says it is not the end of the road for Zuma. He stopped short to confirm that Zuma will appeal but said he will wait for instruction when it comes. He added that ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula tried to intimidate him by sending threatening messages to him during the process of the National Disciplinary Committee hearing against Zuma.“Without consulting the former president from a physical meeting to a virtual meeting he took it that they are interfering with his rights as the member of the ANC having agreed the meeting, then changed to virtual.
