Big Tech contributed to the rally, and that includes Apple despite a downgrade from KeyBanc that took the stock to underweight from sector weight.

Shares of Honeywell seesawed Friday as investors continue to chew on the industrial conglomerate's disappointing third quarter , which sent the stock down 5% Thursday. The results were hurt by bad execution, energy project delays, and a lack of recovery in industrial automation. The market was also disappointed that the company didn't provide initial framework on 2025. Honeywell is a battleground stock, with reasons to like it and question it.
