Bank Pembangunan, Danajamin get nod to commence merger talks | The Malaysian Insight

BANK Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd and Danajamin Nasional Bhd have obtained Bank Negara Malaysia’s approval to commence negotiations to merge as recommended by the government.

Under Budget 2020, the government proposes that BPMB, Danajamin, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd and Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia Bhd be restructured and merged to strengthen the country’s development financial institutions.
