Microsoft asks staff each year if they think their compensation is competitive. Leaked poll results show a declining share say yes.

Internal Microsoft poll results reviewed by Business Insider suggest a declining number of employees think their pay is competitive.

Business Insider received pay-specific poll results for the overall company and confirmed the results with multiple sources. We are not naming the sources because they are not authorized to speak on internal company matters. A total of 71% of employees said there's a "reasonable balance" between what they contribute to Microsoft and what they get in return, down slightly from 74% in 2019. The percentage of employees who believe Microsoft's benefits are competitive with other companies, 71%, has remained the same.Microsoft has been dealing with employee concerns about pay for years., which came as a surprise to both the employees and their managers.
