PVH, the parent company of such apparel brands as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, plans to develop 'meaningful targets' and be accountable to 'meet those targets in the future,' CEO Manny Chirico said.

"We need to do better from a recruiting point of view, we need to do better from a training and development point of view and, most importantly, we need to do better when it comes to representation at leadership [and] management positions throughout PVH," Chirico said in a "Chirico was responding to a question from Cramer, who asked why it's important for companies to take a stance during the current climate in the nation.

"We need to also focus on racial and ethnicity issues, as well, and get better representation in our executive ranks across the board." Arbery was chased, shot and killed by vigilantes in Georgia in February, a case that was not brought to light until video footage of the shooting went viral online in May. Taylor was killed by police in Kentucky during a botched police raid. Their deaths and many others over the years, on top of longstanding economic inequities, have fueled days of massive protests against police brutality and for accountability across the world.

Did you think we forgot how racist you were to Asians?

Well then he should just step aside and give his job away.

.To late- I never buy anything Hilfiger- lack of diversity is common impulse for Hilfiger

Can’t I just call myself a black woman and take advantage all the benefits of being a minority? That’s actually my plan for the day HR comes to downsize me. “Is this because I told you I was changing genders?” They will back right off!!! 😂

me too... me too

Now that’s a leader .... 😉 😉 elonmusk

Which isnt going to happen. U will not survive if u hire unqualified people, its not the govt where you can just raise taxes. Until minorites take education more serious nothing is gonna change, pretty simple.

Why?

These CEOs are a joke. If they really felt this way they would’ve done it years ago. Not June 2020 because of one incident. It’s basically free advertising and virtue signaling here. Not fooling anyone

False

As an Asian American, I have experienced first hand how corp American has taken earnest effort in advocating diversity, often times to a fault. They should be proud of their progress. Don't cave to the radicals. That won't help addressing the problem.

He’s a racist

Why don’t you focus on making clothes in America instead of overseas junk that fades and falls apart?

Same mf that said he didn’t make his clothes for blacks. GTFOH. Too little, too late.

Ah that's the spirit! Why not just take down the protective boards on all the shopfronts and let those peaceful protestors come and do a little more 'protest shopping'

No one actually cares

I don’t give a crap what these companies say or vow or promise. All they have to do is hire more black people. Should a rule of minimum 10% of every companies employees and leadership. It’s not that hard
