Stocks saw a mostly lower start on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 pulling back from record territory as COVID-19 cases continued to surge and investors tracked prospects for another round of aid spending out of
Washington. The Dow DJIA, -0.52% was down 68 points, or 0.2%, at 30,150, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.12% fell 6 points, or 0.2%, to 3,693. The Nasdaq Composite COMP, +0.38% edged up 8 points, or 0.1%, to 12,536. All three benchmarks ended Friday at records.
