The third witness in Lim's graft trial, Datuk Lim Hock Seng, acknowledged this when asked if Guan Eng, also DAP secretary-general, declared this to the council before Jan 26, 2011.
Hock Seng also said Guan Eng had mentioned a few times before that the project should be awarded via an open tender. The offence was allegedly committed between January 2011 and August 2017 at the Penang Chief Minister's office.
If he tells, then he would be accused of directing the boards to accept the one he 'introduced'. By not telling, the board would be deciding based on the right qualification, capability and choice on anonymous candidate company. Anyone can refer to apply. Idiot prosecutor? 🤔🤔🤔
