SAN DIEGO – A 27-year-old man was killed and a second man was injured in a shooting in front of a neighborhood market near Mount Hope Cemetery in Mountain View Tuesday.
Officers provided first aid to the man, but he died of his wounds at the scene. His name was not immediately released pending notification of his next of kin, though police said he was 27 years old. The two victims ran northbound into a parking lot, where one fell to the ground. The second man ran away and was later taken by private vehicle to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
