Coles offloading petrol business to Viva Energy

Coles is exiting the fuel retailing business with their $300 million sale of the Coles Express petrol stations to Viva Energy. The deal is expected to conclude in the second half of the financial year, pending review by the ACCC and the Foreign Investment Review Board.

So these companies have been established as fall corporations. When the government passes to ban petroleum fuels or seriously limit the purchase through costs. Shell will be safe, it's moved to the climate change industrial complex. So is Coles by the look of it.
