According to a cousin who spoke to Agence France-Presse, the child is the lone survivor in their immediate family. Rescuers and civilians look for survivors under the rubble of collapsed buildings in Kahramanmaras, Turkey. A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the country's southeast on February 7, 2023.
