The return of the Maynardville Open-Air Theatre Festival, which has stood as a historic pillar for Cape Town’s theatergoers, represents a return to what makes the Mother City unique – a place where the arts and business can find community.
Open Air Collective, in collaboration with VRT Theatrical, has gone above and beyond to ensure our reintegration as a community, inviting the surrounding community to join in by going door-to-door handing out thousands of flyers, sponsoring tickets for old age homes, and providing ticket discounts with the launch of the Friends of Maynardville Programme, which offers discounts on all Maynardville Festival tickets to the local community.
