This Alberta couple has all their kids’ education money in cannabis stocks. What could possibly go wrong?

Rule 1 of is vesting is don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Diversify.

No one that is sane and reasonable would put their kids' education money in any stock. You don't gamble with the future of your kids, unless you're either a horrible person or you didn't receive enough education from your parents to actually understand common sense.
