“Pick one that's kind of a long shot, 5-10 to 1, 'cause you get a bigger return on investment,” McIngvale said. “And pick a horse race where there's eight or 10 or 12 horses in the race. You — the odds are much better there. And if you see a horse that reminds you of your best friend's name or your favorite colors, bet on it 'cause you'll probably win.”
