The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.9 per cent to finish the day at 26,202.73, not moving significantly after the yield curve inversion. Minutes from the Fed's July 31 meeting said the US central bank will remain flexible and interest rates will not be on a"preset course" in the face of persistent risks from trade uncertainty and weak global growth.
