Mosimane also questioned the logic of bringing foreign coaches, who had won little over the years, to South Africa. He says those same foreign countries would never give him a job even though he had such a glittering CV that has seen him win umpteen titles domestically and even the top prize on the continent in the form of the Champions League.
The Sundowns boss says it would have been more sensible to stick with a young coach like McCarthy and allow him, as a South African, to grow.
