Laos is striving to improve the business environment. But despite the government’s continuous and increasing efforts, its global ranking suggests that Laos is deteriorating in this regard.
The ease-of-doing-business ranking issued by the World Bank suggests that Laos dropped by 13 places in 2019 to 154th among 190 economies worldwide.
