While details on the company's intentions remain sparse, it appears that Oppo will receive some support from fellow smartphone designers RealMe and OnePlus to develop system-on-a-chip designs. This move could allow these companies to reduce or eliminate their dependence on SoC suppliers such as Qualcomm and MediaTek.
