A WATER company is urging customers to take a four-minute shower instead of a bath as fears of a hosepipe ban grow.
This month is expected to be England’s driest May since 1896. Karen Gibbs, of the Consumer Council for Water, said lockdown has compounded the problem. She added: “The threat of restrictions is a long way off and could quickly evaporate if we see a wet start to summer.Temperatures are set to hit 84F today — the hottest day of the year so far — and 81F tomorrowGOT a story? Just had a 6 minute shower, but hey, that's just how I roll 🖕😎
We only have a shower 🚿 anyway
After the winter we had, I think they have a water collection problem.
More people in the country, more usage.
Wettest winter for a long time and they’re saying we’re short. They are taking the p**s!!
Or we could share baths like we used to do when I was younger
We had the wettest February in many years and around three months later there is talk of a hosepipe ban!
Here we go, hose pipe ban incoming!!
They have got a nerve with all the rain we have had over the last 6 months. About time they ploughed their profits into building more reservoirs and underground holding stations
People still use a bath? Crazy talk? Who wants to stew in their own dirt 🤢🤷♀️
My last water bill was £260 a quarter. So if I wanna hose pipe my garden and car then I'm gonna!! SouthWestWater
Then water company boss has a 40 min shower...
god help us if we lived somewhere that was sunny more than 4 weeks a year
