Billionaires in the Hamptons are hiring armed guards to protect them from protesters

, Lapin reported. The protesters were asking for Gov. Andrew Cuomo to raise taxes on the billionaires in New York State, to help make up for the economic crisis the pandemic has plunged the nation into. Now, Gould reports that Hamptons residents are finding themselves increasingly uneasy after the demonstrations

Charlie McArdle, cofounder of CM Security Consulting, told Gould that his business has seen a massive uptick in interested clients since the protests, as wealthy people look to hire security guards to protect their families and property this Fourth of July weekend. "My clients range from the one-percenters to people who are concerned about the political climate and what's going on today," McArdle told the outlet.

CM Security Consulting is currently servicing 16 residential properties in the Hamptons, almost half of which are billionaire enclaves, according to McArdle. "The calls came in as soon as the shut down started, in March," he told Gould. "People started thinking ahead and added security. They were worried about burglaries as unemployment soared and then they started worrying about protecting their property from protesters.

So we defund the police but hire private security. The left is more hypocritical every day.

steph93065 The more we defund the police the worse poor neighborhoods get and the the race baiting elite get richer and richer....and buy their own security.

steph93065 They will need an army if things don't calm down and law and order is restored. Money won't help them.

Hope they get to big nose fake ass HowardStern’s house. He would be first to call the cops. Hypocrite

Perhaps they could also hire some bakers and ‘let them eat cake’.

Journalists who tell the truth, the general public, and voters at the polls are also hiring bodyguards to protect them from the billionaires’ agenda.

Huh. Almost like they kinda get what is happening this time. Hopefully they will start to redistribute their wealth a little bit and create a better world.

BaronianConsult So they think protesters r coming for them? Odd why what did they do to feel this way ...guilt for what. When these protesters arnt even thinking about going after people. They r fighting for police brutality and change in the judiciary system.

And will continue to vote and publicly support “defund the police.” Hypocrisy

good. time for them to feel the fear they impose on everyone else every single day.

Nobody’s protesting in the Hamptons. Dummies.

They need to feel safe while they make their ‘we are all in this together’ videos.

Well yeah, defunding the police (of rendering them otherwise ineffective) only hurts poor people 🤷🏽‍♀️

Good!
