President Trump is trying to ban WeChat, the wildly popular messaging app that people in China can't live without. Here's everything to know about the app.

WeChat QR codes are displayed at a grocery store.Messaging, however, is still a huge part of WeChat's usage. In China, you don't take down someone's phone number or receive a business card. Instead, you scan their WeChat QR code.

American tech giants have followed in WeChat's footsteps in some ways. Facebook began turning its Messenger app into a platform for accessing apps like Uber and sending money to friends in 2016. Why does it matter if an app used by another country is banned here in the US?

Trump is an American and he cares for his people unlike Muslim Obama who turned a blind eye to crimes of China.

I am a Chinese, without wechat we cant live comfortably and conveniently。 using VPN,I use ins to follow my favorite actresses and professional knowledge, use twitter to directly understand foreign news and interesting things, but Facebook rarely use。 but us cant use VPN

If the stupid American doesn't know the fact that China has already purged all American's APPs ( Google, Gmail, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Flickr, Dropbox, iDrive, ,,, )for many years ? Please shut up !

Interesting, considering this platform is largely unused or unheard of by most Americans.

Facebook ,Google is banned in China since the beginning.Tit for Tat ,long due !
