KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional candidate Chan Boon Thian has promised to look into the difficulties faced by Indian Muslim traders if he wins the Elopura seat in Sandakan.
“I hear you and I understand your needs,” Chan said during a meet-the-people session with nearly 70 Indian Muslim traders in the district yesterday. Also present were Sandakan Indian Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sandakan Abdul Baree Habeeb and Perikatan Nasional’s Tanjong Papat candidate Ken Yong.
