The Department of Public Works and Highways announced Thursday that the P11.9-million agricultural road in Barangay Libo, Carigara, which stretches 436 meters with drainage, is aimed for completion before the end of 2020.
“Travel time will be cut short with the help of this project and this will not just farmers improve their deliveries, social services will be more accessible too,” Villar added. Meanwhile, a river wall aimed at protecting low-lying areas in Barangay Poblacion in Albuera, Leyte was recently completed. It is 300-linear meter flood control project implemented under the government’s flagship, Build, Build, Build program funded under the 2020 budget.
