French business planning startup Pigment, cofounded by Criteo cofounder Romain Niccoli and ex-Index investor Eléonore Crespo, announces it has raised a total of $25 million. The amount is combined between a €3.5 million seed round, and the rest is in a Series A round.
“Pigment is useful for any process in which a decision maker in the company tries to lay a number to strategize,” Crespo, who serves as the company’s CEO, says. “You say ‘I want to grow 20 percent next quarter — how do I do that?’ How much will it cost me to open a subsidiary in a foreign country? What would be the P&L at this specific time?”
