The repeal of the transgender service ban is a great start, but Biden will be under pressure from all sides to go further and undo the damage to civil rights and equality wrought by the Trump administration. To do so, Biden needs to prioritize the following four areas.Nominating the first gay man for a cabinet role — Pete Buttigieg for Secretary of Transportation — signals that LGBTQ+ people will have a seat at the table.
