While many were outraged by the most recent shoe design, this is not the first time MSCHF has stirred up controversy with its custom designs.
MSCHF's release of Lil Nas X's"Satan Shoes" comes as a follow-up release to the company's previous design of a"Jesus Shoe." The"Jesus Shoe" was a custom design released by MSCHF that, reportedly, had an actual drop of holy water from the River Jordan, soles colored Vatican-red and a steel crucifix attached to the laces.
But do they say '6 million wasn't enough'? Cause there's nothing more disturbing than that.
Well Lil Nas and MSCHF are going to go straight to hell for those shoes. Yup, they are on that highway to hell.
It's hard to say where the line is crossed when it comes to art and fashion. But it certainly feels like this might be a case. I'm not sure what should/could be done. It is unsettling at the least. But maybe that was the goal...?
