Google is to invest £730m in expanding its office space in London, paving the way to increase staff numbers in the UK by more than 50%.
The technology giant is to buy the Central St Giles site it already occupies and refurbish the building. This will include providing meeting rooms for hybrid working and outdoor covered areas for people to work in the fresh air, in response to theGoogle is buying the building it already occupies at Central St Giles and will refurbish the blockThe investment comes alongside a new development being built for the company in King's Cross.said the move means it will have capacity for 10,000 employees in the UK. It currently has more than 6,400 staff across the country.
