Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi, on Thursday, said the decision to remove or retain fuel subsidy is not in the hands of State Governors. The Ekiti State Governor said the forum has “concluded to engage the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress on how best to address this issue without causing any disaffection but with a view to salvaging the Nigerian economy for the Nigerian people.
“It is not up to sub-nationals to decide on what happens to PMS pricing. It is an entirely exclusive responsibility of the Federal Government. The Federal Government has said it plans to discontinue the payment of fuel subsidy by June but the move has been rejected by several stakeholders, including the Nigeria Labour Congress.
The whoes business
But all governors are United on this, mounting pressure on federal government to do away with subsidy because of what they stand to gain at expense of the masses.
But lend your voice to it. It's matter of Legacy. One day, we all shall be remembered for something. May God give us Wisdom in Jesus Name Amen.
O le
Is not the business of the govs yet they seat to discuss how much will the pum price will be.
Are governors not part of citizens of this country
Them all know the solution
So shameful that this regime sees it as politics when displaying incompetency in their individual offices. The little fuel we use in forgetting other wickedness of APC government that's what they are about taking from us. What a government!!!!
Spoken well. It is good to call spade a spade
