They are Acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, Constitutional Court Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, Supreme Court of Appeal President Mandisa Maya and Judge President of the Gauteng High Court Division, Dunstan Mlambo. The proceedings and interviews will be conducted in Sandton.
Justice Madlanga will be the first candidate to be interviewed when the JSC starts the process on Tuesday. Justice Maya will take the stand on Wednesday. Judge Mlambo has been scheduled for Thursday. And Acting Chief Justice Zondo will be the last candidate to be interviewed on Friday. The JSC commissioners will conduct deliberations behind closed doors on Saturday. The JSC proceedings will be chaired by Supreme Court of Appeal Deputy President Xola Petse who is the next most senior after Zondo and Maya.
