Mikael Thuneberg, chief executive of Supermetrics, said the company hopes to grow fast in Ireland.Helsinki-based Supermetrics is set to create 100 jobs in Ireland over the next two years as it opens a dedicated Dublin office.
Supermetrics, which offers a data integration tool that automatically collates data for marketers, is currently based in Dogpatch Labs in Dublin. Founder and chief executive Mikael Thuneberg said he came up with the idea for Supermetrics due to his own experience of manually collating the marketing data.
“We are growing the team a lot — in product development, marketing, sales, customer service. For many of these roles, we are agnostic on where they are located,” he said, adding that Dublin was an area where they could find high-quality talent, and he expected the operation here to grow based on that.“This announcement further underscores Ireland’s position as a global hub for the world’s leading tech companies,” said Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail Damien English.
