Not only does it include a stunning cave that was designed to house a remarkable collection of full size statues, but there is vision for the property's future. More than 800 caves are said to be hidden beneath the city's streets, under homes and even in gardens, so while this isn't the only house in Nottingham to have a cave, it is one of particular note. Named “Columns Cave”, it is one of several created by Alderman Thomas Herbert and is understood to have been created between 1850 and 1876 and is accessed from the property's beautiful gardens.
