The Blue Angels are returning to Naval Air Station Jacksonville for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic shut the event down, with hundreds of thousands of visitors expected throughout the weekend to see them perform.
The Air Show is expecting at least 100,000 people or more on each of its two days, in line with trends before the pandemic. Gates to the free event open at 9 a.m., with the grand finale at 3 p.m. "You never thought you'd be doing this one day. But here you are - you're doing it," he said."You get to come to your hometown and show everybody that, hey, this is what you can do."
